This photograph shows a peddler, Seng Huat, seated on the floor with his items spread out on his trishaw and on the ground for sale. This peddler used to sell cassettes and vinyl records of old Mandarin songs from the 1940s to 1950s at Sungei Road in the 1970s and moved his makeshift stall to the vicinity of Kreta Ayer in the late 1980s.
