Abstract
Program done in a magazine format that attempts to bring the experience of art to an audience in a media-saturated society. Passage follows the path and development of artistes' struggles and achievements. State of the art considers events that have or are taking place in Singapore. Gallery features accomplished persons from various art forms commenting on the development of the art form in Singapore and around the world. Passage features Jonathan Lim and his performance in two local plays, Emily of Emerald Hill and The coffin is too large, with Krishen Jit directing. Very Special Art Singapore (VSA) recognises that art has a therapeutic value which enables people with disabilities to acquire everyday skills, and music with its catchy tunes and infectious rhythms can help especially in rehabilitation and social interaction.
