The series, Muzik Sepanjang Zaman (or Music for all times) seeks to document the development of Malay music from the 1940s to the present, from the early days of strong Hindi/Bollywood influence, to the rage created by Western rhythms in the 60s and 70s, to the resurgence of Islamic music in the 90s. It discusses the challenges faced by our local artists and composers and how they strive to stay relevant to rapidly changing times.
