Abstract
XiaoWu stabs an unwitting female classmate and the film shows us memories of him encountering a depiction of the Mountain of Knives, on which those who have committed his crime must reside, at Haw Par Villa as he philosophises about the cycle of life and death with a deep disembodied voice.
