Alastair Gornall is Associate Professor at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. His research focuses on the history of Buddhism in South and Southeast Asia and the translation of Pali and Sanskrit literature. Setsuko Yokoyama is Assistant Professor at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. Her work on a literary history of speech-to-text technology reimagines the contemporary discourse on fairness in Speech AI.
