Abstract
A MediaCorp Arts Central programme shown over 8 episodes, which takes a refreshing look at the lives of artistes and the different genres of performing arts. In each episode, an artist takes on a new arts discipline, which provides viewers with an interesting cross-disciplinary experience and appreciation of the different art forms by emphasising to viewers the precision and effort needed to cultivate good art. Episode 3, brings a dancer, schooled and trained in modern dance choreography, face to face with a culturally rich and physically demanding Bharatanatyam, a classical dance from Tamil Nadu.
