Abstract
This was another event of exciting Zapin dance performances. This yearly event is Sri Warisan's Art Reach Programme for all, young and old. This is the 6th season, since its introduction in 2001 Zapin Dance festival, organized and produced by Sri Warisan. New works features Zapin dance from traditional, modern, contemporary choreography by Iramaya, Huda Rahim, Murah Mansyah, Neng Ayu, Aryandi and Zahidah. Music accompaniment by live music led by Mr. Zubir Abdullah with his 'Gambus' music instrument. Besides the new works, Sri Warisan performers performed the traditional Zapin Kampung Melayu. Zapin Tengklu from Johor, Zapin Temasek and Zapin Remaja Ria, which are Sri Warisan's Zapin dance repertoire.
