Abstract
In this last episode for 1997, Singaporeans share their thoughts on the events of the year. It was a year of soul searching as events force Singaporeans to re-assess their values and emotions went from being concerned over the upgrading of flats during elections to dealing with the economic crisis and dealing with the issue of mortality with the Silkair crash.
