Abstract
Mr. S. Potter is headmaster of a school which gives instruction on "How to win without actually cheating." The school teaches the ways to seduce women, gain points in a conversation, or beating someone who plays a better game. One of Mr. Potter's pupils is a desperate Henry Palfrey whose every attempt to win the heart of April Smith has been thwarted by the cad Raymond Delauney. Needless to say Mr. Potter's instructions allow Henry to vanquish his nemesis and win April's affections, though not quite as Mr. Potter had intended.
