Abstract
In the coastal area of Kuantan, fishing families eke out a living from the sea, and children play carelessly in the waters. Each day is punctuated by the cries of family members calling each other in to eat. In a culture where meals are almost ritual, the desolation of those without food or home becomes even more poignant.
