Information About

Corpse collectors were equipped with long prongs. This photograph shows three corpse collectors and a supervisor standing beside a hose wagon. Following Russian methods the three corpse collectors use long prongs to handle corpses of victims of a plague in China. The corpses are transported using horse wagons. The corpse collectors are fully covered in protective clothing. This was taken in 1921. Title devised by Library staff.
