This picture depicts the façade of the building of Chin Kang Huay Kuan (晋江会馆), a Chinese clan association, at 27, Bukit Pasoh Road. It was built circa 1928. The clan association was established in 1918 by immigrants from Jin Jiang County of southern Fujian Province of China. The clan building used to house Chin Kang School (晋江学校), established in January 1947 and later closed in 1975. Title devised by Library staff.
