This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Mr. Lim Lean Teng (林连登), Director (1949-1952) and Chairman of Overseas Union Bank Limited (1952-1963). He was a successful rubber planter in Malaya and Director of Public Life Assurance Company Limited (1955). Mr. Lim donated generously to University of Malaya and Nanyang University in Singapore.
