This is a picture of family members and friends gathering around the grave of Mr. Zubir Said to offer prayers during the state funeral ceremony at Pusara Aman Muslim Cemetery on 16 November 1987. Standing in the background are military officers performing the 21-gun salute. "Majulah Singapura", the national anthem of Singapore, was composed by Mr Zubir in 1958. Title devised by Library staff.
