Façade of the four-storey John Little's Tourist and Shopping Centre fronting the landscape roof garden and ornamental fountain at Raffles Place. It has a "well-serviced cafe" where Indian merchants and Chinese brokers from the nearby Market Street and Malacca Street met for tea and trade negotiations. Singapore Tourist Promotion Board was located at the mezzanine floor of the John Little's Building between 1964 and 1970. It was demolished in 1973. TItle devised by Library staff.
