This is a view of the ten-storey Thong Chai building at 50, Chin Swee Road. The name of the institution in Chinese is on the wall. Completed in 1976, the building replaced it original premises at Eu Tong Sen Street and was officially open by Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew on 28 November 1976. The building houses an outpatient clinic, library, exhibition room, and hall on the first to third storeys, and offices on the fourth to tenth storeys. Title devised by Library staff.
