This is the façade of Presbyterian High School (长老会中学) at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6. Li Sun High School was established in 1965 at 53, Wolskel Road, off Upper Serangoon Road in the premises of Ming Sin Primary School. "Li Sun" was the Chinese name of Reverend Alan S. Moore Anderson (1876-1959), an American missionary who proposed the building of the school. In 1978, the school came under the management of Bethel Presbyterian Church. The school moved to a new premises at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6 in January 1983, and became "Presbyterian High School". The school was declared open by Mr. Lau Ping Sum, Member of Parliament for Yio Chu Kang, on 31 August 1984. A new school complex was built at 5209, Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6, between 2000 and 2002. The new premises was declared open by Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Acting Minister for Education, on 14 May 2004. Past principals are Mr. Chou Chu Shen (1965-); Mr. Lim Lak Ching (Mar 1978-1979); Mr. Lian Sek Lin (Jan 1980-1989); Mr. David Wang Mei Hsiong (Dec 1989-1993); Mrs. Serene Pang-Lai Shoon Hoon (黎素云, Dec 1995-Dec 2002); Mrs. Carolin Tan-Wong Yoke Lin (黄玉莲, Dec 2002-Dec 2008); and Mr. Lim Yan Hock (林燕福, Dec 2008-to date).
