This is a picture of recruits at the passing-out parade at Taman Jurong Camp, who were subsequently posted to 20 People's Defence Force (Artillery) or 20 PDF (Arty). On 1 September 1967, 20 PDF (Arty) was redesignated as 20 Singapore Artillery Battalion or 20 SAB. The camp was home to 1 SIR (1968-1969), 3 SIR, 4 SIR and General Artillery Headquarters (1966-1976). In 1974, General Artillery Headquarters was renamed as "Headquarters Singapore Artillery". Title devised by Library staff.
