This is a façade of Toa Payoh Police Station at 2 Lorong 4 Toa Payoh. Built by Public Works Department, the station was declared open by Mr. Chua Sian Chin, Minister for Home Affairs and Education, on 3 June 1977. It was built to replace the old Kandang Kerbau Police Station, built in 1931. It was the headquarters of B Division of Singapore Police Force. After it was closed down in 1988, the station became the headquarters of Volunteer Special Constabulary (1988-1994) and Force Communications Branch of Police Technology Department. After refurbishment works, it was occupied by Police Security Command. Title devised by Library staff.
