This is an elevated view of Fengshan Primary School (blue roof) at 305, Bedok North Road, located next to Ping Yi Primary School (red roof) in Bedok housing estate. Fengshan Primary School was declared open by Mr. Fong Sip Chee, Minister of State for Culture, on 9 April 1983. In January 2001, Fengshan Primary and Ping Yi Primary merged to form the new "Fengshan Primary School". The school operating at 307, Bedok North Road was declared open by Mr. Hawazi Daipi, Parliamentary Secretary for Education, on 2 February 2002. The old Fengshan Primary School premises became temporary holding site to St. Anthony's Canossian Primary School in January 2011. Past principals of Ping Yi Primary School include Mr. Chen Shao Chern (1985-1990); and Mr. Chee Seng Liang (1997-1999). Past principals of Fengshan Primary School include Mr. Chong Tet Hsim; Mr. Law Chor Hoo (1986-1988); Mrs. Mary Lau (1993); Mrs. Soh Gin Teck (1997); Miss Lim Soh Lian (林素莲, Dec 1998); Mrs. Maria Phua Li Leng (2002-2003); Mrs. Soh-Wong Mei Foong (黄美凤, Dec 2003-Dec 2010); and Mrs. Vivien Low-Ang Wek Cheng (洪惠贞, Dec 2010-to date).
