A car enters the underground car park at Raffles Place. In the background is Mercantile Bank Chambers located between D'Almeida Street (right) and De Souza Street (left) and the 20-storey Asia Insurance Building. The car park, with rooftop garden, was constructed by Public Works Department in 1961. In 1987, it made way for the Raffles Place Mass Rapid Transit Station. Title devised by Library staff.
