This is an elevated view of a cluster of hotels along Havelock Road that overlook Robertson Quay. On the right, clockwise from bottom: Concorde Hotel (dark cylindrical building, now known as "Holiday Inn Atrium Singapore"), River View Hotel (white building at the waterfront), Hotel Miramar, King's Hotel (white cylindrical building, now known as "Copthorne King's Hotel Singapore") and Apollo Singapore (now known as "Furama Riverfront Singapore"). Havelock Road is named after Major General Sir Henry Havelock, one of the commanders and heroes of the 1857 Indian Mutiny. Located at the waterfront on the left are the 14-storey warehouses/car park and seven-storey showrooms/offices buildings of Trademart Singapore, a fashion and apparel hub.
