This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Mr. Shaw Vee Meng (邵維銘), Barrister-at-law and Member of Nanyang Junior College Management Committee (1980-1989). He was the eldest son of prominent philanthropist, Mr. Run Run Shaw, and nephew of Mr. Runme Shaw of Shaw Brothers Organisation. He joined the Shaw Brothers in 1958 and later became Chairman of Shaw Organisation and Shaw Foundation. He was Committee Member of Singapore Turf Club (1971-1983); and Member of Chung Hwa Girls' High School Management Committee (1971-1984) and Zhonghua Secondary School Advisory Committee (1984-2000).
