This is a close-up of Mr. Thambirajah Tharmadurai Durai, Honorary Secretary (1990) and Chief Executive Officer of National Kidney Foundation Singapore (1992-2005). He was Member of Pasir Panjang Community Centre Management Committee (1976) and Kampong Glam Citizens' Consultative Committee (1977-1979). He was awarded the National Youth Service Award for Community Service in 1976. He resigned from the Foundation in July 2005 to face charges for corruption. Title devised by Library staff.
