The campus is bound by Clementi Road (left) and Pan Island Expressway (right). Inaugurated on 25 May 1963 as "Ngee Ann College", it was renamed "Ngee Ann Technical College" on 22 August 1968 and subsequently renamed "Ngee Ann Polytechnic" in April 1982. Between 1963 and 1968, the college was housed in the Teochew Building at Tank Road.
