Information About

This is a picture of a group of children eagerly waiting for their candies to be prepared by a seller who plies the housing estate on bicycle. The candy, known as "ding dang tang" (叮当糖), is sold by men from the Hakka community, and its name is derived from the sound made by the knocking of two metal tools used to loosen the candy. Title devised by Library staff.
