This is a photograph of shoppers outside a bag store in Change Alley, a narrow lane with small shops stretching from Raffles Place to Collyer Quay. Change Alley ceased operations in 1989 when the buildings on both of its sides, namely, Winchester House and Singapore Rubber House, were demolished to make way for new developments.
