It shows the Manufacturing Engineering block, Precision Engineering block, Electromechanical Workshop, Motor Vehicle Workshop, Administration Building, assembly area, amphitheatre, clock tower, car parks, canteen, basketball courts, main store, and classrooms. On 1 April 1992, McNair Vocational Institute and Kim Keat Vocational Institute merged with the Singapore Vocational Institute to form ITE Balestier.
