"THANK YOU NUHEROES. During the COVID-19 outbreak, outpatient pharmacies at the National University Hospital moved part of face-to-face medicine dispensing to home deliveries. To manage home deliveries, a dedicated team of pharmacists take the process of clinical checks and counselling to the phone. Pharmacy technicians oversee payment matters, and work with delivery vendors to ensure medicine is delivered on time. All this work is on top of their interactions with existing patients who still collect their medicine personally. These heroes in white coats go the extra mile just to make sure patients get the right medicine at the right time, thereby ensuring medication and patient safety."--Contributed by National University Hospital, as part of the "Documenting COVID-19 in Singapore" collection community call. This photograph shows a staff with mask at the National University Hospital (NUH) pharmacy on the phone, probably talking to a patient and verifying his/her records for home delivery.
