A view of Muhajirin Mosque (or Masjid Muhajirin) with its tall minaret and onion-shaped dome. On the right is a partial view of Block 998, a seven-storey Jurong Town Council (JTC) flatted factory at Toa Payoh North. The mosque is located at 275, Braddell Road in Toa Payoh. It was the first mosque built under the Mosque Building Fund scheme. The foundation stone was laid by Mr. Haji Buang bin Haji Siraj, President of the Muslim Religious Council, on 30 May 1976. The mosque was officially declared open by Mr. Othman Wok, Minister for Social Affairs, on 8 April 1977. Title devised by Library staff.
