This is a view of the main entrance of Jurong Junior College at the corner of Corporation Road and Jurong West Avenue 2. The college was established in March 1981 at West Coast Road (next to Pandan Reservoir). In January 1985, it was relocated to 800, Corporation Road. It was declared open by Mr. Yeo Cheow Tong, Acting Minister for Health and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, on 31 July 1987. Past principals include Mr. Koh Beng Thiam (1981-1987); Mr. V. Govindarrasu (1987-1993); Miss Ching Ah Kim (1996-2002); Mr. Steven Koh Yong Chiah (许永正, Dec 2002-Dec 2009); and Miss Tay Lai Ling (Dec 2009-to date). Title devised by Library staff.
