This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Mr. Mohamed Noor bin Mohamed Yusofe, better known as Yusnor Ef, a prolific and accomplished Malay songwriter, television producer, author, lyricist, music composer and scriptwriter for stage plays, radio dramas, television soap series and films. He is the Managing Director of YKNA Network Sendirian Berhad, Member of the Board of Directors of COMPASS or Composers and Authors Society of Singapore Limited (1987-to date); President of PERKAMUS or Association of Malay Singers, Composers and Professional Musicians (1993-to date); Member of the Arts Resource Panel (Music) with The National Arts Council (2006-2008); and Vice-Chairman of the Malay Music Development Committee (Dec 1998-2008). He was awarded the Long Service Award and the Public Service Medal in 1994 and 2002 respectively at the National Day Awards for his services to the arts. Title devised by Library staff.
