This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Mr. Lee Seng Wee (李成伟), Director (since Feb 1966) and later Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation from August 1995 to 2003. He was Director of the Great Eastern Life (Feb 1975); Member of the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (Aug 1984) and the Council of Presidential Advisers (1993-1999); President of the Society of Remisiers (1986); and Chairman of the Singapore International Foundation (1991-1993). His father, Mr. Lee Kong Chian (李光前), was a prominent Hokkien community leader and philanthropist; and Vice Chairman (1932-1937) and Chairman of the Board of OCBC (1938-1964).
