This is a view of the main building of Bukit Merah Secondary School at Jalan Bukit Merah. The school was established in 1968, and it was declared open by Mr. Lim Guan Hoo, Member of Parliament for Bukit Merah, on 16 May 1968. In 2001, the school was relocated to temporary holding site at 10, Raeburn Park. It returned to Lengkok Bahru in Bukit Merah in March 2003. In January 2004, it merged with Delta Secondary School (at Jalan Bukit Ho Swee) to form the new Bukit Merah Secondary School. Past principals of Bukit Merah Secondary School include Mrs. Mok Choon Hoe (1981-1982); Mr. Chia Meng Ann (1982-1988); Mr. Joseph Ng Kim Seoh (1992-1993); Dr. Anthony Loh (1997-2004); Mrs. Chin-Kok Lai Yoke (郭丽玉, Dec 2004-Dec 2011); and Mr. Sim Chong Boon (Dec 2011-to date). Past principals of Delta Secondary School include Mr. Lian Sek Lin (1992-1993); and Mr. Leonard Yong Kwei Leong (1994-Dec 1998); and Ms Winnie Tan Swee Ling (Dec 1998-1999).
