This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Mr. Chua Sian Chin, Minister for Health from 1968 to 1974. He was Assistant Treasurer (1968) and Treasurer of the People's Action Party Central Executive Committee (1970-1982); Minister for Home Affairs (1972-1984) and Education (1975-1976); Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Singapore National Co-operative Federation (1988); and People's Action Party Member of Parliament for MacPherson (1968-1989).
