This is a view of Thong Chai Building, with its two-storey podium and eight-storey office block, located at 50, Chin Swee Road. Completed in 1976, it housed an outpatient clinic, library, exhibition room and hall on the first to third storeys, and offices on the fourth to tenth storeys. It was declared open by Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, on 28 November 1976. Title devised by Library staff.
