The photograph of a fleet of NTUC Comfort taxis and their drivers. Known as "NTUC Workers' Cooperative Commonwealth for Transport Limited" (Comfort), it was formed in 1970 by National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) to alleviate the problem of unlicensed taxi operators. The co-operative went public in 1994 and was renamed "Comfort Group Limited". In 2002, Comfort Group merged with bus operator, Delgro Corporation, to form ComfortDelgro Corporation.
