This is a view of Serangoon Secondary School (实仁中学) at Lowland Road (moved in 1967), from a corner of its quadrangle. It was established as "Serangoon English School" in 1928. In 1949, it operated as a full school. Primary education ceased in 1957. After it moved to Lowland Road in 1967, the old premises was used as an army camp. Serangoon Secondary School (实仁中学) was declared open by Mr. Sia Kah Hui, Parliamentary Secretary for Labour and Member of Parliament for Upper Serangoon, on 3 April 1969. It was relocated to 11, Upper Serangoon View in 2001. Title devised by Library staff.
