This is a 1982 photograph showing Jiak Kim Street, with a godown at the corner of Jiak Kim Street and Kim Seng Road. Jiak Kim Road was named after Tan Jiak Kim, who was involved in the founding of the Straits Settlements and Federated Malay States Government Medical School which eventually became the National University of Singapore.
