Head-and-shoulders portrait of Mr. Govindasamy Ramachandran, President of Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce in 1966-1968, 1973-1974, and 1982-1986. He was also Director of P. Govindasamy Pillai and Sons (Singapore) Private Limited; Patron of Ramakrishna Sangeetha Sabha, Singapore (1979); and Council Member (1978-1979), Vice President (1985-1986) and later President of Singapore Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (1986-1988). His father, Mr. P. Govindasamy Pillai, was a founder member of Indian Chamber of Commerce (later Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry; since 1991).
