This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Mr. Teo Chee Hean (张志贤), Minister for Education, who served from January 1997 to July 2003. In 1973, he was awarded the President's and SAF Scholarships, and commissioned as a naval officer of the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN). He was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral in July 1991.
