This picture depicts a rattan processing shed in Potong Pasir during the 1970s. A large, manmade concrete pool can be seen, just under the shade, where the bundles of rattan would be submerged in before they were dried out under the sun. A man can be seen lifting a bundle of rattan to be processed. Title devised by Library staff.
