This photograph shows the entrance to the Royal Theatre on North Bridge Road. The entrance is between two side pillars, and above the entrance is a large billboard advertising the Malay movie "Madu Tiga". There are also movie posters in the display panel on the side pillars. There is a crowd in the theatre's compound where another billboard of the same movie is displayed. The movie played at the theatre in 1964 and the artwork for the movie is produced by the Gay Yau Studio. A kacang puteh man sits outside the entrance with his products. Date of creation estimated.
