This photograph shows sedan chairs on a raised platform at Jing Shui Gang Dou Mu Gong Feng Shan Si (汫水港斗母宫鳳山寺) during Nine Emperor Gods festival held in November 1995. In the foreground, an offering table can be seen with urn and joss sticks, some oranges and cooked food. The festival is a nine-day Taoist celebration beginning on the first day to the ninth day of the ninth lunar month of the Chinese calendar. Description by Library staff.
