This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Madam Fatimah Yassin, a Malay teacher at the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus School from 1954 to 1957. She was also an amateur actress and director; Committee member of the Sriwana; and Chairman of the Singapore Malay Youth Literary Association. She migrated to Malaysia in 1966.
