This is a side view of the east portico and tall spire of the Armenian Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator from Coleman Street. It is Singapore's first Armenian and oldest Christian church, located at 60 Hill Street, built in 1835 by Mr. George Dromgold Coleman, Colonial Architect and the first Government Superintendent of the Public Works (1833-1841). On 6 July 1973, the Preservation of Monuments Board gazetted the building as a national monument. Title devised by Library staff.
