This 1970 photograph shows The Arcade and the Ocean Building. The Arcade, also called the Alkaff Arcade, features distinctive Moorish arches and dome. The Ocean Building features a curved façade and a short tower. Both buildings have undergone reconstruction. In the background is the Asia Insurance Building, now the Ascott Singapore Raffles Place. The buildings are located along Collyer Quay, in the vicinity of Raffles Place. Date of creation estimated. Title devised by Library staff.
