This is a close-up of Mr. Ang Peng Siong, national swimming champion in Singapore. He won the Best Sportsman of the Year award for three consecutive years from 1982 to 1984, conferred by the Singapore National Olympic Council for his achievements in swimming events. He is Managing Director of APS Swim School (S) Pte Ltd which he established in 1996. His father, Mr. Ang Teck Bee, was a national judo coach and winner of the Coach of the Year award twice, in 1969 and 1975. Title devised by Library staff.
