This is a view of the four-storey classroom block of Deyi Secondary School (德义中学) at 3, Ang Mo Kio Central. It was established as "Teck Ghee Secondary School" in January 1980. It was renamed in 1982, and declared open by Mr. Lee Yock Suan, Minister of State for National Development and Member of Parliament for Cheng San, on 5 May 1982. In 2001, the school was upgraded under PRIME (Programme for Rebuilding and Improving Existing Schools) and occupied 1, Ang Mo Kio Street 42 in June 2003. Past principals include Mr. Wu Tat Huan (Jan 1980-Mar 1981); Mrs. Choy Say Chin (Apr 1981-Dec 1990); Mrs. Goh Hwee Choo (Jan 1991-May 1995); Miss Helen Choo Chieh Chen (朱雪贞, Jun 1995-Jun 1997); Mrs. Esther Mok (Jun 1997-Dec 1999); Ms Yap Wah Choo (叶华珠, Dec 1999-Dec 2003); Mrs. Grace Chua-Tan Bee Sim (陈美心, Dec 2003-Dec 2009); and Mrs. Linda Chan-Chua Mui Mui (蔡美美, Jan 2010-to date).
