This is a half-length portrait of Mr. Mohd. Aedit bin Abdullah, the first Malay recipient of the first-class honours from Faculty of Law of National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1994. He was Assistant Professor at Faculty of Law in NUS (1997). In the Legal Service, he served as Law Clerk in Supreme Court (1995), District Judge and Deputy Registrar of Subordinate Courts, Coroner and Referee of Small Claims Tribunals, Deputy Public Prosecutor (1999-2001) and Deputy Senior State Counsel in Civil Division of Attorney-General's Chambers (2001, 2002-Dec 2003), and Chief Prosecutor of Criminal Justice Division at Subordinate Courts. He was also seconded to the Enforcement Division, Securities and Futures Department and Capital Markets Department at MAS (Oct 2001-Jul 2002). Title devised by Library staff.
